TESTIMONIALS FROM RIDERS WHO HAVE ENJOYED GREG ROMERO'S MENTORSHIP & GUIDANCE
Partnering with Coach Greg Romero, I went from obscurity to Nag 1 and World 2 in just a few years. I obviously learned a lot from someone who took me into his home and showed me as much about training and preparation for BMX as I could handle. Considering I was 42 when I first met Greg shows his commitment to anyone who is willing put the work in, old or young. I will be forever impressed by a coach, while training Pros trying to qualify for the Olympics, always had the time for a 45 year old trying to conquer the world on my cruiser. Thanks Coach G for all you do.

Greg Romero has been mentoring and helping me improve on my strength and skills on the bike for around six years. Since day one he has been in my corner and always there for any of my needs, be it on the track or off the track if it’s strength or BMX related he is here to give advice and help you in any way possible. He is a very trustworthy coach and is straight to the point on any part of training-leaving it clear what the goal is leaving no error in the process-which is to get results and win races. His coaching has taught me to go for gold every weekend and leave nothing behind, leading to awesome results and having the best chance to win or get on the podium at every single competition.

Leading up to the Olympic Games in 2008, Greg Romero was my BMX specific coach who helped guide and train me to an Olympic Bronze medal. With a successful racing career of his own, including podium performances at World Championship elite events, Greg has a wide variety of knowledge, skill, and experience. His passion for the sport is unquestionable. I had a great time growing as an athlete under his guidance, and laughing at all his jokes. G’s sense of humor, got me through a lot of tough situations-to ultimately reach my goals. Two athletes with Olympic medals (Mike Day, and myself) speaks for itself about his ability to coach high performance.

The first conversation Coach Greg Romero and I had about working together he asked why I was interested in hiring him as a coach and without hesitation I told him he’s been to the Olympics, thats where I want to go, and I think you can get me there. He did exactly what I knew he could do, take me from a professional BMX racer to an Olympian.
As an elite athlete under the direction of Greg Romero I’m always impressed at how his training methods evolve. I always feel like were doing something most people aren’t.
As a coach, Greg has made it easy for me to understand all of the concepts we use in his training. Whether it be access to his website and countless training videos or in-depth explanation through email, phone call, text message, or hands on training. Coach G goes above and beyond when it comes to access to his services.
Greg has enhanced every aspect of my racing since I started working with him in 2010. He isn’t just a trainer, not just a coach, but he is a BMX genius who knows what it takes to win.
Thanks for everything Greg
Greg Romero is a phenomenal coach and literally brought me to the level of Pro racing I am today. I have been racing professionally now for 10 years and worked with some of the best coaches from all over the world, and I have to say Coach G tops them all. One of the biggest attributes of Coach G’s programs is the fact that he has been there, done that, and got the medal to show for it. A lot of coaches can write a program, but Coach G has actually lived it. He can fine tune any riders form and make sure they are doing everything exactly how they need to. He has a way with his athletes that is motivating and inspiring all at once! Easily put, he can not only build the engine, but he knows how to drive the car as well! Thanks Greg for everything you have done for me, and where you have brought my racing!

Going into the 2012 London Olympics, I was trying to find someone to help me with my preparation that knew what they were doing and had the results to prove it. Hands down, Greg Romero was the guy. Choosing (having the opportunity) to train with G was the best decision I have made in my racing career thus far. With the magnitude of the trials and tribulations that I have been through with my racing and performance plan, I knew Coach Greg Romero could relate and as a result take the second guessing out. He makes sure that you are at the top of you game and always ready to race. I have seen vast improvements and still continue to see them. Greg has also helped me fine tune my gate and sprinting mechanics and as a result get me back on podium.
Right from the first time I met Greg, me knowing nothing about proper BMX training, he took me in and taught me everything I know today from sprint training to strength and conditioning. This is something I will never forget and will always carry with me. Greg has taken me in to stay at his house multiple times for training, and each and every time it has been a blast. I have always felt welcome in his home for training, and I always come away with a re-energized and motivated frame of mind. As a smaller rider, my struggles were always getting out of the start first. With Greg’s personalized training program, my focus went primarily onto my strength and form off the start, and this is exactly where I first noticed major improvements. I was able to get out of the start much faster and in front of my competitors. Joining Greg’s strength and conditioning programs is the best decision I ever made and I will never forget everything he has done for me. The customized training has also helped me mentally and has allowed me to prepare better for competition and approach my laps with confidence. As a result of Greg’s training, I have been able grow and accomplish much more in my results allowing me to achieve my goals which have included qualifying for the Canadian National Team and being a Carded Canadian Athlete.

Greg Romero perspective with track work, strength work and race time mentals is that of no other coach! His program has helped me maintain a level of consistent performance on the track and as a result I recaptured the 2013 Elite National Championship title.

There are people directly responsible for the longevity of my career. One of those individuals is Greg Romero. Coach G knew what is was like to be a 30+ Elite pro and the work we did was so perfectly what I needed to come back from an injury, and to continue to make gains.
Dr. Jason Richardson-2007 Pan Am Gold Medalist
Even after winning the USA BMX national amateur cruiser title, I knew I needed to bring my training to another level to be competitive in the Vet/Masters class. I’ve never been one to expect different results by doing more of the same, so I looked around for someone with a proven track record to provide a fresh perspective. Greg Romero’s resume certainly speaks for itself, so I looked to him to improve my power to match the best Vet/Masters in the country. As planned, all of that training peaked perfectly at my last BMX race before retiring, the 2006 NBL Grand Nationals where I got 2nd in the very tough Masters class and got to stand on the podium between Tim Dinger and Jason Carnes. It was arguably my best physical performance ever.
